The shareholders of Clement Wheatley are pleased to announce that Edward F. (Ted) Hodges, Jr. has been elected President of the firm. Hodges’ election occurred on January 31, 2015.

Hodges focuses his practice on complex real estate and commercial transactions and has significant experience in civil litigation and construction law. He served as the 2014 President of the Danville Bar Association.

A native of South Hill, Virginia, Hodges received his undergraduate degree from Hampden-Sydney College and joined Clement Wheatley in 1996 following his graduation from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

Firm shareholder and Vice President Michael C. Guanzon said, “Ted has long been a leader in our firm, and we are excited for the focus and dedication that he will bring to the role of President.”
