Clement Wheatley attorney Michael C. Guanzon was honored during the Virginia Bar Association’s 126th Annual Meeting, which occurred in Williamsburg January 21-23.
Guanzon, a shareholder and vice president of the firm, was elected a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation, which held its induction ceremony in conjunction with the Association’s Annual Meeting. New Fellows are elected to “recognize excellence in the practice of law and public service.” The Foundation promotes law-related education, the rule of law, and access to justice across the Commonwealth through philanthropy. To date, it has provided over $24 million in support of various, groundbreaking projects.
Guanzon’s law practice focuses on business law and health law. He represents a variety of clients, including closely held businesses, physician groups, community service boards, real estate developers, charitable foundations, and local government agencies. He is a native of Danville and a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond School of Law.
