Darren focuses his law practice on bankruptcy & creditors' rights, collections, and general civil litigation. He graduated from the University of Arizona and earned his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. Darren and his wife, Ann, moved to Danville upon his graduation from law school.

Darren is a member of the Virginia State Bar and North Carolina State Bar. He is admitted to practice in all Virginia and North Carolina Bankruptcy Courts and regularly handles bankruptcy matters for creditors in both states. He is also a member of the Danville Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Virginia Business Magazine has recognized Darren as "Legal Elite" in the area of bankruptcy law in 2012 and years prior. He was also named to the 2014 Virginia Super Lawyers list in Creditor Debtor Rights.

Darren serves as the Legal Advisor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Danville Area and as Secretary for the Southern Piedmont Technology Council.
